| 1. Hire Rates The rental prices quoted include; a) VAT at the prevailing rate b) Unlimited mileage c) Comprehensive vehicle insurance in the UK only (excluding Northern Ireland) d) Roadside assistance and breakdown cover in the UK only (excluding Northern Ireland) 2. Insurance a)Excess Charge There is standard excess charge of £500.00. This means that the hirer will be liable to pay the first £500.00 of any claim for damage to either the vehicle or third party property. The hirer will also be liable for replacement or repair of windscreen and tyre damage. b)Insurance Loading just1kombi.com may incur additional charges if a driver either has a traffic conviction, a non-UK driving license or an occupation which is deemed to be high risk by our insurers. These charges will be passed directly to customers. 3. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) CDW at £15.00 per day will reduce the excess for any damage caused in a collision to either the vehicle or third party property to £0.The hirer will however be fully liable for replacement or repair to windscreen or tyre damage. Applies in respect of each claim, not rental. Please note that Collision Damage Waiver Insurance is optional and decided upon on collection of the vehicle. 4. Security Deposit There is a refundable pound sterling security deposit of £500. This must be paid to cover the possibility of negligent damage to the vehicle or the fixtures and fittings therein or equipment included in the rental. This deposit is payable by cash, traveller's cheque or credit card (via the paypal.co.uk online system). This deposit is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle as stated in the rental agreement, with the interior clean (including all cooking appliances) and a full tank of unleaded petrol. 5. Travel in Europe & Northern Ireland Not permitted. 6. Bedding & Towels The inventory includes a fitted sheet for the Rock 'n Roll Bed and another for the Roof Bed. Other bedding (a duvet and 2 pillows) and two towels may be supplied to hirers from overseas at a cost of £25.00 per rental. It is not available to UK based hirers, who must bring their own bedding. 7. Minimum Hire Period Five days subject to availability. Applications for shorter breaks considered during the low season. 8. Driver Qualification a) Age restrictions. You must be aged between 25 and 70 years b) All drivers must have held a license valid in the U.K. for more than two years c) A valid driver's license must be presented by all drivers at the start of the hire period d) Drivers must also provide two further separate forms of identification (e.g. credit card & passport) e) A maximum of 3 drivers per rental is permissible 9. Head Office Stableford House, 21a West Street, Epsom, Surrey KT18 7RL 10. Opening Hours Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm 11. Payment A ‘non-refundable’ deposit of £100.00 is payable to confirm a booking. A booking is not confirmed until funds have cleared into our bank account or cash has been received. The balance of any rental payment is due six weeks (42 days) before the rental start date. A booking made less than six weeks before the start date must be paid in full immediately by credit or debit card via paypal.co.uk or bank transfer. Cheques will not be accepted for late bookings. 12. Cancellation Charges More than 42 days before the rental start date: £100.00 Between 21 days and up to 42 days before the rental start date: 50% of total hire charge Less than 21 days before the rental start date: 100% of total hire charge 13. Collection & Return a) Collection Please allow one hour to complete paperwork and for the vehicle 'hand over demonstration'. b) Return The vehicle must be returned before the date and time specified on the rental agreement. The vehicle must be returned clean and in the same condition as it was collected. A charge of £50.00 will be made for cleaning should this not be the case. N.B. Late returns If you are late please advise us immediatley by calling or texting 07899 074336. Failure to advise us may result in prosecution for driving uninsured. You will also be delaying the start of someone else's holiday! A charge equivalent to one day's rental will be payable for all late returns. |
